CleanSnap - Age Suitability

CleanSnap is a device-cleanup utility from Fog Hill LLC. It helps users review their own photos and videos, create compressed copies, organize contacts and calendars, and store selected media in a local private vault.
Intended audience
CleanSnap is intended for users 13 years of age and older, consistent with our Terms of Service. It is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed as a children’s app.
The age rating shown on your local App Store product page is Apple’s content classification and may differ by region or operating-system version. It does not replace the eligibility requirements in our terms.
This page describes CleanSnap 1.3.1, including its TestFlight builds. While that update is pending, the App Store may offer an older version. Our Privacy Policy explains the relevant differences between versions.
Content and communication
CleanSnap does not provide a public content feed, public sharing community, messaging or chat, gambling, or curated mature entertainment.
The app displays photos, videos, contacts and calendar information that a user permits it to access. That personal content may include material unsuitable for a younger user. CleanSnap does not filter personal-library content for age suitability.
The animated chameleon mascot guides onboarding and optional purchase screens. Its appearance does not mean the app is intended for young children.
Purchases
CleanSnap 1.3.1 offers limited free use and optional Pro purchases. Available subscriptions and one-time purchases, localized prices, renewal terms and any eligible introductory offer are shown on the purchase screen. A free trial is not guaranteed.
Parents and guardians can use Apple’s device-level purchase restrictions, Screen Time and Ask to Buy where available. These controls are provided by Apple; CleanSnap does not include its own parental-control or age-verification system.
Personal data and cleanup actions
Photos, contacts and calendar access require permission. Users should grant access only to information they are authorized to manage.
Review selections carefully before confirming deletions, contact changes or calendar removals. Keep independent copies of important items. Compression may be lossy, and storage estimates do not guarantee recoverable space.
The private vault is local storage, not a backup service. Vault items can become unrecoverable if the app or its data is removed. Export and verify another copy before removing important originals.
In CleanSnap 1.3.1, optional usage analytics starts off on a fresh installation. Purchases and some network tools use external services. Our Privacy Policy explains permissions, service providers and older-version behavior.
Guidance for parents and guardians
Before allowing a teenager to use CleanSnap, review the permissions and purchase options together. Supervise cleanup involving important family photos, contacts or events, and confirm that backups or recoverable copies exist.
