Aesthetics (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is developed and operated by Fog Hill LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Aesthetics mobile application (the “App”). Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the App.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
Photos. You upload or capture a photo for facial aesthetic analysis. Your photo is sent to a third-party AI service (Anthropic) for analysis and is immediately discarded after the analysis is complete. We do not store, save, or retain your photos on any server. Photos used for analysis history are stored locally on your device only.
Analysis History. Your analysis reports (scores, archetype, improvement recommendations) are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your analysis history to our servers.
Communications. If you contact our support team, we collect the content of your messages and any information you provide.
Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data. We collect information about how you interact with the App, including screens viewed, features used, actions taken, the dates and times of your visits, and session duration.
Device Information. We collect device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and general device settings such as language and timezone.
Crash and Performance Data. We collect crash logs, error reports, and performance metrics to diagnose and fix issues.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not store your photos on our servers or any third-party servers after analysis is complete.
- We do not build facial profiles, run facial identification, or link your face to any database.
- We do not collect precise geolocation data or track your real-time location.
- We do not access your contacts, microphone, or other sensors.
- We do not use device fingerprinting or advertising identifiers (IDFA) for tracking purposes.
- We do not share personal data with third-party AI models beyond the analysis request.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features, including facial aesthetic analysis and report generation
- Process your subscriptions and manage premium features
- Monitor and analyze usage trends and preferences to improve the App
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
- Communicate with you about updates, support requests, and promotional offers related to the App (with your consent where required by law)
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Photo Processing and Data Flow
When you submit a photo for analysis:
- Your photo is sent via encrypted connection to Anthropic’s API for AI-powered analysis.
- Anthropic processes the photo and returns an analysis report.
- The analysis report (text only, no photo) is stored locally on your device.
- Your photo is not retained by us or by Anthropic after the analysis is complete. Anthropic’s data retention policy applies to API requests; we use their zero-retention API configuration.
Photos saved as part of your on-device analysis history are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
4. Local Data Storage
All analysis history and report data in Aesthetics is stored locally on your device. Your analysis scores, archetype results, and improvement recommendations never leave your device except when you explicitly choose to share them (e.g., using the share card feature). We do not maintain any server-side database of your personal data.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes:

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not upload or share your photos with advertising networks or data brokers.
All third-party service providers are contractually required to protect your data with safeguards equal to or greater than those described in this Privacy Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as the App is installed or as needed to provide you services. Specifically:
- Photos are never stored on our servers — they are discarded immediately after analysis.
- Analysis history and reports are stored on-device only and never stored on our servers.
- Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.
- Crash and performance logs are retained for up to 90 days.
- Communication records (support emails) are retained for up to 24 months.
When you delete the App, all locally stored data is removed from your device.
7. Your Rights Under CCPA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Delete your personal information (locally stored data can be deleted by removing the App).
- Opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR (European Economic Area Residents)
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate personal data
- Erase your personal data
- Restrict processing of your personal data

9. Children’s Privacy
Aesthetics is designed for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
10. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. All data transmitted between the App and third-party services uses encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
