Frequently Asked Questions
How do I save an exhibition? On any exhibition detail page, tap the bookmark icon to save it. Saved exhibitions appear in your Saved tab so you can easily come back to them.
How do I log a gallery visit? After visiting a gallery, open the gallery’s profile in the app and tap “Mark as Visited.” You can add notes and a rating to remember your experience. All visit logs are stored locally on your device.
Where does the exhibition data come from? Gallery sources exhibition listings, gallery profiles, and artist profiles from curated NYC art databases. Please verify exhibition dates and hours directly with the gallery before visiting, as listings may not always reflect real-time changes.
Is my data private? Yes. All your exhibition saves, visit logs, and follows are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This data is never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What happens if I delete the app? All your locally stored data (saved exhibitions, visit logs, follows) will be permanently deleted with the app. We recommend noting any must-see exhibitions or exporting your data before uninstalling.
How do I delete my data? Deleting the app removes all locally stored data from your device. To request deletion of any analytics data we may hold, email us at ben@thefoghill.com.
