How do I add a maintenance task? Tap the “+” button on the Dashboard or Task List screen. Choose from our template library or create a custom task. Set the category, frequency, and when it’s next due, then save.
How do task reminders work? HomeTick sends local notifications to remind you when tasks are coming due. You’ll receive a reminder before the due date so you have time to schedule the work. Make sure notifications are enabled in your iPhone Settings > HomeTick > Notifications.
Can I track multiple homes? Yes! HomeTick supports multiple properties. Add homes in Settings and assign tasks to each one. The Dashboard shows tasks across all your homes.
What are seasonal checklists? Seasonal checklists are curated sets of maintenance tasks for each season (spring, summer, fall, winter). They help ensure you don’t miss important seasonal tasks like gutter cleaning, furnace inspections, or winterizing outdoor faucets.
How do I track costs? When you mark a task as complete, you can optionally log the cost. Your completion history shows all past costs so you can track maintenance spending over time.
How do I manage my subscription? Go to your iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > HomeTick. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from there. You can also manage your subscription from the Settings tab within the app.
How do I restore my purchases? Open HomeTick > Settings > Restore Purchases. This will restore any active subscriptions associated with your Apple ID.
What happens if I delete the app? All your home and task data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app will permanently remove all data. We recommend keeping regular device backups through iCloud or your computer.
